Lifewealth enters Oxfam Trailwalker
Our mission includes a focus on bringing peace of mind and happiness to our customers, our people, and our communities. We are very proud to announce that Lifewealth – in line with our mission – has entered two teams into the Oxfam Trailwalker event in Melbourne in late March this year.
Each team of four will walk 100kms together to raise funds in support of the work of Oxfam in lifting people out of poverty around the world. Breaking the cycle of poverty requires a global solution to limit the global impact of humanitarian crises and, as always, financial considerations are key.
Trailwalker is not a relay, every person on each team needs to complete the 100kms.
Whilst we have two teams, we are fundraising through one team site that can be accessed via the donate button below; this takes you to our Trailwalker team page with a donation button on the right, next to our target.
As you can imagine, a significant amount of training is being undertaken in preparation for the event and a few nervous Lifewealth people are pounding the trail for upwards of 50 to 60kms per week at present. We have a practice hike scheduled for 29 February for a lazy 50km starting at the Thousand Steps in Mt Dandenong, if anyone would like to join us.
Our goal is to raise more than $20,000 from our endeavours and we are very grateful for the donations we have received to date and appreciate any more that we may receive.
