Paul McKernan – Director
After a successful banking career spanning twenty years in senior management roles across taxation, finance and strategic planning, Paul along with his now retired partner established the Lifewealth Group business.
Over 25 years experience in financial advice, funds management and taxation, Paul has developed a diverse portfolio of corporate and private clients for Lifewealth, and is highly respected for delivering sound financial strategy and prudent investment advice.
James Vandeloo – Director
James has been a Financial Advisor for eight years and holds a Bachelor of Business and an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services. His client base is diversified however has a bias towards Executives, Entrepreneurs and Professional Athletes.
James is a Faculty Member of the Portfolio Construction Academy and is also completing his Chartered Financial Analyst designation (CFA). His qualifications underly his passion for everything investment related. This passion and a commitment to putting his clients’ needs first reflect the core values of our business.
Bianca Dowdell – Director
Bianca has been working in the Personal and Business Insurance Specialist arena for nearly 10 years. Bianca works with an array of clients and specialises in high net worth and small to medium enterprises. Bianca is passionate about her career and receives great satisfaction in helping clients have adequate insurance in place to ensure they don’t have to go through financial hardship when they are going through the stress of injury, illness or death. Bianca’s dedication was highlighted when she was nominated for the 2011 AFA Female Excellence in Advice awards.
Mark Henry – Director
Mark has been delivering quality advice to clients for well over a decade. After commencing his career as a Financial Planner in banking, he quickly built a strong reputation and developed both personal and professional relationships. This extended into his own Financial Planning business in 2014. Mark built a successful business from the ground up, based on providing quality, tailored advice to his increasing number of clients. His genuine and empathetic approach made him a perfect fit to join the Lifewealth team in 2018.
Jason Harwood – Director | CEO
Jason has had an extensive career in financial services over two decades including vast experience leading financial planning businesses for a major bank. Ensuring customers are delighted and have clearly established plans for the future remains a key focus and aligns with the core values of Lifewealth.
Jason has, in the past, established businesses outside of financial services and has completed his Masters in Business Administration. He adds considerable knowledge to our team.
Terry Barber – Director
Terry has a well earned reputation, built over many years, of both delivering quality advice and maintaining genuine personal and professional relationships. Terry was a leader in the bank’s advice business, developing from a one-man operation to lead a business with more than 10 staff and more than 400 valuable clients.
Whilst very thankful for his time in the banking environment, Terry believes strongly that the opportunities to provide access to a broader range of solutions for investors and retirees has never been more important as the world becomes more complex.
Jane Toh – Intermediate Accountant
Jane joined LifeWealth Group in December 2015 after almost 4 years’ experience working in a public practice in business advisory and self-managed superannuation fund team. Jane is CPA qualified and holds a Bachelor of Commerce majored in Accounting & Finance (University of Melbourne).
Simon Schembri – Associate Adviser
As an Associate Adviser at Lifewealth Group, Simon’s focus is to provide individuals with strategic and investment advice; based upon on clear and articulate plans that are founded on current financial literature, investigative research and financial modelling.
Simon brings to the team over 10 years’ experience in the financial planning industry; providing him a well-rounded knowledge in all aspects of the financial planning process. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and has also completed the internationally recognised Certified Financial Planner (CFP) professional designation by the Financial Planning Association of Australia Ltd.
In line with Lifewealth’s core values, he prides himself on strong principles of team work and diligence that enable him to assist people towards achieving their goals.
Grace Campbell – Business Manager
Grace joined Lifewealth as our Business Manager in 2017 after working for over 10 years in the Financial Services Industry. In addition to her experience, Grace brings to Lifewealth her passion for ensuring that her colleagues are supported in the way they need by seeking to understand what matters most to them. By doing this, Grace’s ultimate goal is to facilitate the delivery of quality advice and therefore, peace of mind to our clients.
Janet Billing – Executive Assistant
Janet joined Lifewealth in 2015, bringing with her, over 10 years’ experience as a Financial Planning administrator. In addition to her broad industry expertise, Janet builds wonderful rapport and develops genuine relationships with our clients, many of whom have known Janet since she started in the industry. Janet provides invaluable assistance and support to the entire Lifewealth community!
Alan Blackwell – Accountant and Financial Adviser
Alan is a qualified Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
Alyssa Hatzi – Client Services Officer
Alyssa joined Lifewealth early in 2016 and her infectious personality and positive energy have enhanced the team and she has already become a favourite with our clients. Alyssa’s focus is on ensuring our client experience is always on point and is also charged with improving our service offering.
Bianca Cassano – Administration Coordinator
Bianca’s experience is multi-faceted and spans across a wide range of industries. Coming from a background in Real Estate and project marketing, she has joined the Lifewealth team as Administration Coordinator.
Her passion, dedication and playful nature creates a wonderful environment. Bianca’s broad understanding of the sales process, emphasis on client relations and excellent customer service is what makes Bianca a highly respected and invaluable member of the Lifewealth team.
In her spare time, Bianca enjoys trying different restaurants with family and friends, seeing live music, shopping and traveling the world.
Alison Blackwell – Receptionist
Alison is our receptionist and telephonist and has developed a close contact relationship with clients and business associates. Alison also provides important internal support services to our team in office and client administration.
Krystle Siomos – Paraplanner
Krystle is a Para-planner and a member of the Financial Planning Services team. Krystle is also responsible for servicing the taxation requirements of our client base.
Michael Lirosi – Financial Adviser
Michael is a Para-planner and a member of the Financial Planning Services team and is also responsible for servicing the taxation requirements of our client base.
Chris Kemp – Accountant
A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, registered Tax Agent and Company Auditor, Chris has more than 20 years experience in public accounting practice. Managing Partner of Lifewealth Partners Pty Ltd, Chris’ knowledge of corporate and business environments is based on broad experience in the Bowater group of companies, specialising is auditing, finance and treasury functions. Apart from Taxation and accounting services, Chris advises on the purchases of businesses, joint ventures, and mergers.
Louisa Buccilli – Paraplanner
Louisa is a Para-planner and a member of the Financial Planning Services team and is also responsible for servicing the taxation requirements of our client base.
Ning Taylor – Accountant
Ning joined Lifewealth Group as an Accountant in April 2017. Possessing over ten years of experience across accounts management and administration, Ning is a dedicated and driven professional with a sharp focus on achieving business outcomes and a passion for customer satisfaction. Ning holds qualifications in Master of Professional Accounting (RMIT) and Bachelor of Planning & Design (University of Melbourne).
