During June, Lifewealth was invited as a representative on the Victorian Government’s trade mission to London.

Lifewealth was identified as a potential partner supporting Australian businesses expanding in to the UK and European markets and was considered recognition for the role we have played in advising other businesses, individuals and high profile athletes across the last two decades.

Key highlights of the trade mission include:

Breakfast With The Australian Treasurer Josh Frydenberg
Our two newest principals, Mark Abbott and Robert Nisi, conducted key discussions with the Australian Treasurer Josh Frydenberg in London. The Treasurer was seeking input on the broader reaction to proposed future tax rulings and the economic outlook more broadly. Further discussions are earmarked for later in the year, allowing us deeper insight from key federal decision maker.

Lifewealth Visits Amazon UK Headquarters
We were afforded the relatively rare opportunity to meet with Amazon executives at their London headquarters and undertake a tour of their office and operations. We presented on the importance of financial services and business advisory firms evolving to provide digital solutions to clients and how Lifewealth is making this transition. We also gained key insights on the digital strategies Amazon is developing and the anticipated impact on the broader economy.

Lifewealth Invited to ICC Cricket World Cup
As guests of London Partners, we attended the Australia vs Sri Lanka match during the ICC Cricket World Cup. Even more pleasing was the chance to see one of our clients performing so well on the world stage. As luck would have it, we shared the day with a legend of world cricket – Greg Chappell – and heard his insight into the game and its future, whilst also hearing some live commentary from the former Australian captain and current test and one day selector.

The trade mission to London was a huge success and we will continue to support the Victorian & Australian Government on these types of initiatives.  Also, a special thank you to London Partners for the hospitality they showed during the week we were in London.
